During the inspection tour, the delegation visited the Argentine State-owned Asset Administration Bureau, Brazilian Ministry of Land Development and its subsidiary National Land Reform and Development Bureau, Brazilian Geography and Statistic Bureau, Itaip¨² Hydraulic Power Station and Brazilian National Space Institute etc. The peers of the two parties exchanged views on the development and current situation of their own land administration, the Sino-Brazil earth resource satellite¡¯s remotely sensed data application in Brazil and built up channels for cooperation. Taking the limited time available for him before the President¡¯s meeting the delegation, Mr. Guilherme Cassel, Minister of Ministry of Land Development, received the Huang Xiaohu, the delegation leader, and Fan Zhiquan, the delegation counselor, and clearly expressed his desire to strengthen the cooperation between the two ministries and produced a memorandum text for cooperation and asked the delegation to pass it to China¡¯s Ministry of Land and Resources. Through the inspection tour, the delegation had well learnt about the basic conditions of the society, economy and nature of the South American countries, and had deeply, to some extent, learnt about the land administration institutions and their evolutions, having reached the expected target of the visit.

The delegation in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, listened to the introduction, made by Brazilian Agriculture Development Ministry and Land Reform Bureau respectively, about the policies and measurements adopted by and the experiences of small agricultural economy.
In Rio, the delegation listened to the introduction, made by the Brazilian Geography and Statistic Bureau, about Brazilian mapping technology, methods of information investigation, information statistic and information publication, and visited the workshop.
At the Itaip¨² Hydraulic Power Station, managers showed the delegation its history, its current situation and their immigrant resettlement policy.
In St. Paul, the delegation exchanged views with Brazilian National Space Institute on the development and application of Sino-Brazil earth resource satellite and visited the satellite assembling and testing workshops and their research and development section.
